Ohio Sen. JD Vance (R) and CBS Information’s Margaret Brennan sparred Sunday over a false declare of Haitian immigrants consuming pets in Springfield, Ohio.
“I do know the mayor of Springfield, a Republican, advised ABC Information, ‘We have been punched in a approach we should always not have been punched,'” Brennan stated on “Face the Nation.” “He stated, ‘All these federal politicians which have negatively spun our metropolis, they should know they’re hurting our metropolis, and it was their phrases who did it.’ Your phrases, sir. Vance also got into a heated back-and-forth Sunday with CNN anchor Dana Bash over the Haitian migrants declare. He amplified the false claim Monday, and his operating mate, former President Trump, referenced it in a debate Tuesday with Vice President Harris.
